If you are one of the people in love with lace you are on the right page with every information you need. It is dedicated to the amazing white pearl of the town of Pag; to the Pag lace.  Through the pain, lots of effort and numerous stings lace kind of shapes the history of the town in a precise way. She is a witness of the skills, purity and tranquility of the previous generation and she serves as a reason to keep us from neglecting that amazing skill. It forces us to develop it even further and make it modern like the time we live in.

                                         3.  INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL OF LACE

International Lace Festival and this year will be held in the town of Pag in time 19.06.2012 - 22.06.2012. This is the third consecutive festival and it could already call the traditional. As expected, the festival grows over the years and so this year it attracts over ten countries.

In the beautiful surroundings of the Rector's Palace, Church of St. Francis Mary of the Assumption Church and the Benedictine monastery at least you'll be able to experience the moment as it once looked like everyday life in Pag and, of course, that is itself made ​​lace. The all-day live shows you have the opportunity to experience some of the finest and most fascinating examples of the esteemed and delicate handicrafts. Also through the lace, which are kept in the Benedictine monastery you can see one of the oldest surviving copies of lace, and experience a peculiar story about the relationship of the Benedictine order in the Pag lace.

Since many countries will present their lace is important to emphasize that only Hungary and the Pag lace neck  is the needle, and all others are sown on the bobbin , but it is best to themselves and to witness first hand see how the lace itself is in what the different shades of each lace!
